Our improv and applied improv classes are a fun, supportive way to learn improvisational thinking, gain self-confidence, develop business soft-skills and meet people.
As part of our mission to empower and enrich our community, we have scholarships and reduced tuition available for children under 18, veterans, and those unemployed and looking for work. Contact us about our programs to learn more.
Improv 101: Basics
Next class starts Monday, October 29th!
Whether you’re looking to break into the comedy world, improve your public speaking skills, or just looking for a fun way to meet fun people, our beginner improv class is a perfect place to start. You’ll learn the five tenets of improv and how they apply to performance and real world situations. This seven week course is taught by our creative director, Matthew Russell.

Improv 201: Scene Study
Next class starts Tuesday, October 30th!
Those who have taken Improv 101 with us, or those with equivalent experience (if you believe this is you, please email the instructor) are urged to take Improv 201. This class focuses on the cornerstone of improvisational comedy, solid scenework. This eight week course is taught by our creative director, Matthew Russell, and ends with a performance on the Friday following the last class.

What can a class do for you?
Youth Improv Classes - New classes coming soon!
Whether your child is looking to make friends, gain marketable skills, improv stage performance, or solidify themselves as the class clown, our youth improv classes are going to be a surefire hit. This six week course runs from September 15 - October 20th, Saturdays from 10:00 am - Noon. The students will have a showcase at the end of the course on October 20th at Noon, with a second optional showcase that night before our regularly scheduled shows!
The class will be taught by our Creative Director, Matthew Russell. He has been teaching improv professionally for over 10 year, is an award winning children's entertainer, and has a certificate in children's theater from American River College.
